How we handle enquiry data.

This notice explains how Baholo Projects (Pty) Ltd collects and uses personal information submitted through this website, in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act principles.

Responsible party

Baholo Projects (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party for personal information submitted through this website enquiry form.

Privacy and enquiry contact: info@baholoprojects.co.za.

Information collected

When you submit an enquiry, Baholo Projects may collect your name, company name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number if supplied, selected service, message, consent confirmation, submission time, page URL, referrer and campaign/source fields if present.

Google Search Console is used to understand public search visibility and indexing. It does not require the website to place analytics cookies in your browser.

Purpose of use

  • Respond to your enquiry or quote request.
  • Keep a lightweight lead register for follow-up and status tracking.
  • Detect possible duplicate enquiries so the administrator can handle them correctly.
  • Measure website performance, search visibility and lead conversion activity.
  • Maintain basic operational records for service quality and accountability.

WhatsApp is optional. If you click the WhatsApp link, you leave the website and open WhatsApp. The website tracks the click only; it does not automatically capture WhatsApp conversation content.

Access and processors

Access to enquiry data is limited to Baholo Projects administration and approved oversight/support users who need access to manage, review or support the lead system.

The enquiry system uses Google Sheets, Google Apps Script and email services to store leads and send notifications. Website hosting, analytics and WhatsApp may process limited technical or usage information according to their own platform terms.

Baholo Projects does not sell enquiry information.

Analytics, cookies and storage

Google Analytics 4 is optional. The Google Analytics tag is not loaded unless you select “Allow analytics” in the website consent notice. If allowed, Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure page views, broad traffic sources and selected website interactions such as contact clicks and successful enquiry submissions.

The website stores your analytics choice in local storage so it can remember whether Analytics is allowed. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation are disabled. Analytics events must not contain enquiry names, email addresses, phone numbers or message content.

You can reopen the consent choice using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Declining Analytics does not prevent you from viewing the site, emailing Baholo Projects, opening WhatsApp or submitting an enquiry.

Retention and security

Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months from the last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is required for a lawful, contractual, dispute, accounting or operational reason.

Reasonable safeguards include HTTPS, server-side form handling, access-controlled Google Sheets, least-privilege account access, spam controls and manual deletion/export processes where required.

Your rights

You may ask Baholo Projects to confirm whether it holds your personal information, request correction, request deletion where appropriate, object to processing where legally available, or ask questions about how your information is handled.

Send privacy requests to info@baholoprojects.co.za.

This website privacy notice is operational guidance and does not replace formal legal advice where required.
